Jeff & Alice Seubert ~ Owners, Managers
We were married in 2001 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We lived and worked in Yakima, Washington for many, many years. We were doing alright there, but we always knew that eventually we wanted to do 'something else'. Well, after 20+ years for each of us working for someone else we decided that we could make it work.
We had the land here near Cottonwood for years, doing what we could, as we could afford, to develop it into 'something else'. We just weren't sure for a long time what it would end up being. Then, with much brainstorming among friends, the RV Park dream was born! We still had a few years to work at our jobs before we would be able to make the move. During that time we were able to build the shower building and put in the Guesthouse. Part of the plan would require us to live in the Guesthouse for a while. So in May 2018, we sold the house in Yakima, quit our jobs and made the jump! It took all Summer of 2018 for Jeff to transform a crop field into an RV Park, while Alice was putting the finishing touches on the Guesthouse. We opened officially May 1, 2019 and the reception has been very good. Our 'something else' has turned out to be something great. We are so happy to be in Cottonwood, the people and the area are super! Come visit us sometime!! |
